"Honestly, it was just frustrating"
I tried using the site on my phone and it was way more annoying than it needed to be. Stuff kept loading weird, and the menu was one of those things where you tap around and still don’t really know where you are.
I was just trying to find a basic item, but it kept sending me back and forth like that was supposed to make sense. The filters didn’t really help either, or maybe they did something, but not the thing I needed.
Checkout is where I finally got fed up. My cart wasn’t updating right away, I had to refresh a few times, and after dealing with all of that, I just ordered it somewhere else

"Couldn’t Find What I Needed"
I went in hoping to find a couple of beer kit options, but the selection was limited. A few of the basic things I was looking for either weren’t there or were out of stock, which was frustrating because it felt like a simple request. I ended up leaving and ordering from somewhere else.

"Slow replies and not much help"
Customer service was slow. I messaged about my order and just sat around waiting for days with no real update, which was really frustrating.
When they finally got back to me, it felt rushed and didn’t really answer what I asked. I know it gets busy, but a basic reply shouldn’t take that long or feel that unhelpful. I probably won’t order from here again

"Okay overall, but a little more stressful than expected"
I’ve ordered a few brewing supplies from Midwest Supplies, and it’s been kind of hit or miss. Most of the stuff showed up fine and did what it was supposed to, but one of the kits had a couple parts that felt cheaper than I expected. It wasn’t a disaster or anything, but I definitely didn’t love having to double-check everything and worry about whether I’d need to replace pieces before even getting started. For the price, it’s probably still okay, but I’d recommend looking everything over as soon as it arrives so you don’t end up dealing with extra stress later.

My order arrived, but a couple of the items weren’t the ones I actually picked. Support did help fix part of the issue, which I appreciate, but it was still frustrating. I’m sure other customers would feel the same way if they were expecting specific items and ended up having to deal with a mix-up.

"Ingredients didn’t seem fresh"
I was disappointed with this. The grains had that stale, old smell right out of the package, and the yeast didn’t look active at all. I reached out about it, but it felt like nobody even read what I wrote.

"Refund was a whole hassle"
I had to return something the whole thing was way more annoying than it needed to be. Emails took forever to get answered, and my refund didn’t show up until I chased them again. They did give me my money back in the end, so I’ll give them that, but the whole process felt slow and kinda confusing. Not the worst experience ever, but yeah, I’m not exactly rushing to order again.

I ordered my stuff and, it felt like it just sat there forever before anything happened. There were no updates for days, which was frustrating. I don’t know, maybe it was a one-time thing, but I’m not sure I’d order from here again.

I tried it, the prices felt way too high for what you actually get. Maybe I missed the part where it comes with a personal chef or a tiny treasure chest, but for me, it just wasn’t worth the money...

"Box showed up looking rough"
The order itself was okay once I opened it, but the box showed up beat up. One side was crushed, and the tape looked like it was barely hanging on. Nothing major was missing, thankfully, but it really didn’t seem packed that well. For what they charge for shipping, I expected it to arrive in way better shape. what a joke.
